School Outreach

The Tribe visits schools throughout the area from Caroline to Prince William. They educate and demonstrate the skills, language, and culture of the Patawomeck People to 10,000 to 12,000 students each year.

Stafford High School - Our Representation

Our logo is painted on the wall at Stafford High School.

Stafford High School - Patawomeck Area

We presented Stafford High School's Principal, Mr. Hicks with a History Board that documents the history of our Tribe. It will be placed in the Patawomeck Area at the high school.

Stafford High School - Junior Class Fundraiser

The Junior Class at Stafford High School sold T-Shirts to raise money for our Tribe! Stafford High School Principal Allen Hicks introduced Luke Osleger, Junior Class President who presented Chief Bullock and Chief Emeritus John Lightner with a check from the funds raised.

SCPS Middle School - Model United Nations Conference

SCPS students got to learn about the Patawomeck at the middle school Model United Nations conference today!

Diversity Club's Door Decorating Contest

Darla McGuire teaches at ACS High School in Altavista, near Lynchburg, Virginia. She is "proud to be a Patawomeck Indian and a native White Oaker." As part of the Diversity Club's door decorating contest, the students were required to choose a native culture from an assigned region and integrating their class subject matter into the design. As a result, her students used her Native American Heritage as the basis for their door design. The end result is quite impressive.

Stafford High School Lacrosse Team

The Tribe has always been a big supporter of Stafford Sports. Tribal Members were at Stafford High School today feeding the Lacrosse Team.

Stafford High School Baseball Team

Pregame meal for Stafford High School's Baseball Team "The Pride Tribe". A very polite and gentlemanly group of young men.

National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society of Colonial Forge High School are painting a mural inside the school. It is called "Who shaped the land on which we stand?" The Patawomeck Tribe is honored to be included as one of its features. The Picture is courtesy of Colonial Forge High School.
