  • How do I sign up for the language class?
    There are 3 language classes: Adult Conversational, Youth, and Children Circle. Adult Conversational - Contact Garry Cooper to sign up for this class. Classes normally start the third Sunday in October. Youth - Contact Dave Mosely to sign up for this class. Children Circle - Contact Heather Gray to sign up for this class
  • How much does the language class cost?
    The fee for language class is $25 this year. Usually this class is provided free to Patawomeck Tribal Members for free, but a fee has been charged due to additional costs related to providing this class virtually.
  • Are there any other courses available?
    The language class is the only class available at this time.
  • I'm not a member of the Tribe. Will I be able to take a course offered by the Tribe?
    At this time, courses are only available to Tribal Members, but we hope to have this option available to the general public at some point, so check back for updates.

  • Where are you located?
    The physical store is located at 638 Kings Highway, less than a mile from George Washington’s Boyhood home, and to the right just after you pass Duff Green Park. We also sell most of our in store items online at Patawomeck Tribal Store.
  • I would like to donate. What do I need to do?
    You can donate online or by mail. To donate online, select the button below. To donate by mail, checks should be made out to Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia. Multiple $500 Scholarships are awarded annually to qualifying Tribal Members. Thanks to generous donors like you, the Tribe has helped many students in their pursuit of a higher education.   • Is my donation tax deductible?
    Absolutely! Patawomeck Indian Tribe of Virginia, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. All contributions are tax deductible.
  • What are the requirements for membership?
    We welcome all people of legally documentable Patawomeck Indian lineage who are dedicated to reviving and keeping alive the heritage of our ancestors to become active members of the Patawomeck Tribe if they meet the requirements listed below. Your family must be listed on the 1860 census of the White Oak area of Stafford County or closely surrounding area (such as the city of Fredericksburg or Pasapatanzy in King George. Your family must have interacted with the White Oak or closely surrounding area in the 20th century.   • How much are dues?
    Dues are $25 for member ages 18 – 65. Tribal Dues are due by July 1st each year. For more information on dues, check out our Dues page.
  • Can I pay for dues online?

  • I am over age 65, but would still like to pay dues. Is that a problem?
    Not at all. The Tribe would greatly appreciate the support.
  • Can I pay my dues with a Patawomeck Gift Card?
    Yes. Dues can be paid with a Patawomeck Gift Card.
  • I need a replacement Tribal Card. What do I need to do?
    Email us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com or call us at 540-225-3900. There is a $5.00 fee for each replacement card request. Cash, check, or credit card is an acceptable method of payment. Please include the following information: Full Name Mailing Address Reason for the change (lost, name change, etc.) If your reason is a name change, please include both the name on your current tribal card and indicate the full name you wish to change it to.   • I just receive my Tribal Card and some of the information is incorrect. What do I need to do? Will I be charged the $5 replacement fee?
    You will not be charged the $5 replacement fee for card that you just received with incorrect information on it. Email us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com or call us at (540)-225-3900 and let us know the information that is incorrect. We will send you a Tribal Card with the correct information. Please include the following information: Full Name Tribal Number The information that needs to be corrected
  • What are the shipping and return policies?

  • The item I want is out of stock. What do I do now?
    If the item you want is showing as out of stock on the Online Store, please email us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com or call us at (540)-225-3900. We may be able to accommodate your request and/or let you know when that item will be back in stock.

    Redeeming your gift card is easy! Place all of the items in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.   • How do I check the balance on my gift card?
    For physical gift cards, you may check your Gift Card balance at any time online here. For e-Gift Cards, you will be able to check the balance from the original e-Gift Card email by clicking on the "View Your e-Gift Card" button. The page will have information about the card balance, transaction history, methods for redemption, and the original gifting message.
  • Can I add money to my gift card?
    Yes, you can add money to your Gift Card by calling the Patawomeck Tribal Center at 540-225-3900.
  • What are the acceptable forms of payment for my purchase?
    Acceptable methods of payment include: Cash, Checks, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Patawomeck Gift Cards. For more information about payment, See Our Payment Policy.
  • Do you allow Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders?
    No. At this time the Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia does not accept Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders.
  • Do you accept international credit cards?
    No. At this time the Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia does not accept international credit cards.
  • Do you charge sales tax on any items?

  • What can cause my order to be delayed?
    Order delays can occur for a variety of reasons. Out of stock and Shipping Delays are the most common. For example, an item could go out of stock after you place your order. We do our best to keep up with the growing demand for popular items. For Shipping Delays, weather, high volume shipments, and failed delivery attempts are just a few of the common causes.   • Can I return an item? What is the return policy?
    If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 30 days of the delivery date with the original packaging. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. For exchanges and returns, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs. We’ll pay the return shipping costs if your item arrived with damages incurred during shipping. You should expect to receive your refund within 2 weeks of us receiving your item(s) back; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This period includes time for us to receive and inspect your return, process it into inventory, and complete your refund. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.   • How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?
    To make changes to an order you’ve already placed, contact us by email us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com or call us at 540-225-3900. We will do our best to help accommodate your changes, but it will depend on where your order is in the shipping process. We cannot guarantee your changes can be made. Once your order has been shipped, no changes can be made to your order. At this point, you will have to refer to Our Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • Can I receive a refund? How long with that take?
    Yes, you can return your item(s) for a full refund within 30 days of the delivery date with the original packaging. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.   • Can I exchange my order instead of return it?
    Yes you may. However, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs. Items can be exchanged for a product of equal value. If the item being exchanged is less than the item being requested, the difference in the value of the items will be charged to the customer at the time of the exchange request. If the item being exchanged is greater than the item being requested, the difference in the value of the items will be refunded to the customer once the return item has been received by the Patawomeck Tribal Center. The customer will receive this refund in the same method of original payment
  • How long does it take for me to get a refund?
    You should expect to receive your refund within 2 weeks of us receiving your item(s) back; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.   • I am returning an item purchased with a gift card. How does that work?
    Orders purchased with a Patawomeck Gift Card will be refunded back to a Patawomeck e-Gift Card for your convenience. New Gift Card codes (16 digit redemption code) will be emailed to your email address on file.
  • What are the shipping options?
    Currently we only offer standard shipping, but let us know if you need your purchase sooner and we will see if we can accommodate your request. Please note, additional shipping charges may apply.
  • When will I receive my order?
    We ship all in-stock items within 2 weeks depending on holidays, weekends, mail traffic and other conditions; however, in many cases you will receive your order more quickly. When your purchases are shipping through standard USPS methods, please expect up to 3-5 days for delivery.
  • I never receive my order. What do I do now?
    If you never receive your order, contact us by email us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com or call us at 540-225-3900. We will do our best to help resolve the issue.
  • What do I do if I receive items that are damaged or broken?
    If you believe that your order is received damaged or broken, please take a photo of the original packaging (including the box the order was shipped in) and email it to us at PatawomeckTribalCenter@gmail.com so we may follow up with our shipper, if needed. We’ll pay the return shipping costs.
  • Where do you ship?
    Most likely we will be able to ship items to you, but please Contact Us to see if we can accommodate shipping to your location. Provide us with a physical address and phone number to deliver your package. We do not ship parcels to post office boxes. For more information about shipping, See Our Shipping Policy.
  • How do I determine my T-Shirt Size?
    The T-Shirts are available in a wide selection of sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large, 3X-Large, 4X-Large. The T-Shirt Size Chart shows the numeric size, bust, waist, and hip measurements associated with each size.
