The Patawomeck Museum and Cultural Center is located at 638 Kings Highway, just ten minutes from Downtown Fredericksburg, less than two miles from George Washington's Boyhood home, and to the right just after you pass Duff Green Memorial Park.

The Patawomeck Museum and Cultural Center is not only close to downtown Fredericksburg, and the Rappahannock and Potomac Rivers, but it also is located approximately one hour south of Washington, District of Columbia (DC) and one hour North of the State Capitol.

From Richmond, take I-95 North from East Broad Street / US 250. Follow I-95 North for about fifty-five miles before turning onto exit 130A to Plank Road / VA-3 East in Fredericksburg. Continue on this road for approximately five miles. This road becomes William Street and the Blue and Gray Parkway before turning onto Kings Highway for less than two miles. Turn right at James Ashby Parkway just before the sign for Duff Green Memorial Park. Turn slightly left at the sign “Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia Tribal Center” onto the new access road just before the entrance to the park. At the end of the access road, which runs parallel to the Patawomeck Museum, drive straight into the parking lot. Additional parking is available in the Duff Green Memorial Park, with a walking trail leading to the Patawomeck Museum and Cultural Center. 

From Washington, District of Columbia, take I-395 South from 14th Street North West. Follow I-395 South for about ten miles before merging onto I-95 South. Continue on I-95 South for approximately thirty-seven miles before turning onto exit 133B to US-17 Business / Warrenton Road. Continue on this road for approximately two miles before turning right onto U.S. Route 1 / Cambridge Street / formerly Jefferson Davis Highway / Emancipation Highway. After less than a mile, turn right onto River Road for approximately one mile before turning left onto Kings Highway. Continue on this road for approximately three miles. Turn right at James Ashby Parkway just before the sign for Duff Green Memorial Park. Turn slightly left at the sign “Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia Tribal Center” onto the new access road just before the entrance to the park.
